JYJ Day Seventeen - HEALTHY

Merriam-Webster's definition:

1. the condition of being well or free from disease

2. the overall condition of someone's body or mind

3. the condition or state of something

As much as we may dislike to discuss it, we all know we need to live HEALTHY.

There is a growing problem in our country and it's called obesity. We see it in our children, our friends and our loved ones.

We tend to avoid the topic like the plague because we don't want to offend, but how much more of an offense is it to lose someone you care about to heart disease? Diabetes?

Culturally, sistahs are praised for being "thick" thanks to the Academy Award-winning actress, Monique. But, sistah girl has since jumped on the healthy band wagon and has dropped pounds to add years to her life.

Sistahs, we have stories to write...lives to live...life to enjoy. Don't cut it short but not eating healthier. Commit to swapping out just one unhealthy treat for a healthy one.

You'll notice clarity in mind, which promotes clarity of thought, which will promote better writing!

Peace & Blessings,

~Tracy
